I wanted to write an amazing post yesterday afternoon that was full of reflection about my semester winding down and some of the lessons I’ve learned. Instead, I was on lockdown on Virginia Tech’s campus.
So all I have to say is, “Spread the love.”
Be kind to those around you, tell them how much you care. Take any anger you have and channel it into helping others, not hurting them. These are things that I need to work on, and not just now or during the holiday season, but each day.
Whether violence happened on a college campus or in the streets of New York City, it’s still violence. It is a reality of our world, but please do not become so jaded you do not worry anymore. We should be shocked when bad things happen, even if we have no way to impact what may be going on a world away.
So please, spread the love. I think that’s an easy gift any of us could share.
Hi…..
I’ve recently started a site, the information you offer on this web site has helped me greatly. Thanks for all of your time & work. “It is no use saying, ‘We are doing our best.’ You have got to succeed in doing what is necessary.
